What is United Way 2-1-1?

United Way 2-1-1 provides information & referral for people in need of health & human service resources, as well as volunteer opportunities in our community.

When you call, you will be connected to an information & referral specialist who is highly trained to evaluate each individual situation, access our extensive database, and provide information on the most helpful resources. The Venturing program is unique because it utilizes extreme outdoor adventure as the method for building character, peer-to-peer bonds, and independence.

Central Access provides access to mental health and drug & alcohol services for adults, adolescents, and children from Lucas County. This program offers the convenience of coming one place for assessment and referral in our county. The service is available to all clients regardless of insurance/ability to pay. Clients receive a diagnostic assessment, determining the severity of their condition. 

The Erie Shores Council provides outstanding Scouting programs to the youth of Northwest Ohio in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood and eastern Fulton Counties.  Programs are operated by age levels mixing lots of fun together with outdoor activities.

Harbor is Northwest Ohio’s premier provider of comprehensive mental health, wellness, primary care and vocational services. When we opened our doors over 95 years ago, we specialized in serving the needs of children. Now, we have an array of services that meet the needs of everyone from birth through mature adulthood. Rescue is Northwest Ohio’s primary resource for emergency mental healthcare. Rescue offers comprehensive services 24/7, every day of the year. Our qualified clinical staff determines what level of care is needed for each patient. Services are offered for children, adolescents & adults.

Toledo Area Ministries (TAM) is the largest ecumenical organization in NW Ohio supported in various ways by 125 member congregations and 6 denominations. We are also the oldest ecumenical organization in NW Ohio being in continuous existence since 1886 under one name or another (Metro Toledo Church United, Toledo Area Council of Churches, Toledo Metropolitan Mission). Zepf Center's mission is creating hope, recovery, and career development. Services are provided to youth 18 years and younger who exhibit symptoms of a serious mental illness.
