United Way 2-1-1 provides information & referral for people in need of health & human service resources, as well as volunteer opportunities in our community.
When you call, you will be connected to an information & referral specialist who is highly trained to evaluate each individual situation, access our extensive database, and provide information on the most helpful resources. Central Access provides access to mental health and drug & alcohol services for adults, adolescents, and children from Lucas County. This program offers the convenience of coming one place for assessment and referral in our county. The service is available to all clients regardless of insurance/ability to pay. Clients receive a diagnostic assessment, determining the severity of their condition.

Toledo Area Ministries (TAM) is the largest ecumenical organization in NW Ohio supported in various ways by 125 member congregations and 6 denominations. We are also the oldest ecumenical organization in NW Ohio being in continuous existence since 1886 under one name or another (Metro Toledo Church United, Toledo Area Council of Churches, Toledo Metropolitan Mission). The organization has had to reinvent itself numerous times in order to keep pace with what God is doing in society and the Church. Today we can be defined in the following four ways:
