Hi, my name is Jason Jude. I have been involved with the Toledo Mountain Mentors since October of 2009. I became affiliated with the Mountain Mentors when Julie Auger, a current mentor, asked if I could help with the completion of the Mountain Mentors' website. It has been a joy working with Sue Thayer and Steve Toth in creating a website geared towards mentoring our local youth here in Toledo, Ohio.
My background extends over a span of 15 years in the IT Industry. I first became introduced to developing websites in the late nineteen-nineties co-authoring an internal website for the criminal justice system in Toledo, Ohio while administering IT support on both Novel and Microsoft server based applications. Since then my professional career has launched into an active role in developing and providing supervisory helpdesk support, for AT&T's High-Speed internet call center, the design and development of an internal Website, electronic document storage, indexing, and web portals on compliance related issues for a local charter school authorizer using the Microsoft’s SharePoint application. You may visit some of the websites I have developed at...www.JudeGlobal.com and www.How2BoostYourWebTraffic.com.
My hobbies are camping, hiking, beach volley-ball, learning the guitar, playing the harmonica, reading both fiction and non-fiction books, and keeping abreast on the advancement of technologies. My passion is listening to music and my taste is very eclectic. Depending on the mood of the day and what I am doing is greatly reflected in the music I listen too. I believe friends are needed to enjoy life and spend as much time as I can socializing with all of them, as time and circumstances allow. Whenever I come upon obstacles in life, I try to find the silver lining and always reflect back on what my mother would always say…”Tomorrow’s a brand new day. This too will pass.” My favorite toast is an old Irish saying…
“There are good ships,
and wood ships,
and ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships,
are friendships,
and may they always be.”

Welcome to the Toledo Mountain Mentors Website
Thank you Steve for the compliment. Good things are to come with the development of the website. Stay tuned everyone!!! We are on the downward slope of making the website a great way to communicate back and forth and to put the Toledo Mountain Mentors on the map via the web. I encourage all mentors and board members to login to your account and create your very own profile. Please take the time to enter good solid information in the Bio section. This is your personal space for you to share with our viewers.
